Treatment Homes, Inc., will present the 22nd Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza on Sunday, December 13, 2009, from Noon-4 p.m. at the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock, Ark. The deadline to enter the gingerbread house decorating contest is December 8.

We've seen the healing power of love and know what a difference it makes in the lives of troubled children. Foster children who have emotional or behavioral problems can experience family life with caring foster parents who are trained to deal with their special problems.

Treatment Homes, Inc., invites students to enter the 2009 Gingerbread Extravaganza Coloring Contest, sponsored by Cabot Office Machines. The coloring contest deadline is November 20. No entry fee. Prizes will be awarded in these categories: Pre-K-1st Grade; 2nd-3rd Grades; and 4th-5th Grades. Selected entries will be displayed during Gingerbread Extravaganza at the Arkansas State Capitol on Sunday, December 13 from noon-4 p.m. Winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m.

Treatment Homes, Inc., celebrated its Silver Anniversary in 2008 - 25 years of therapeutic foster care services in Arkansas! Executive Director Consevella James was appointed to the Children's Behavioral Health Care Commission by Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe, and Treatment Homes expanded its services in the western portion of the state.
