How We Are Funded

Treatment Homes, Inc. (THINC) has a contract with the Department of Human Services, Division of Children and Family Services to provide treatment services to foster children. Additional funding comes from Medicaid, private donations and fundraising activities like the Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza.

THINC sponsors the Gingerbread Extravaganza during the Christmas Holidays each year to raise money for the annual Christmas party and to purchase Christmas gifts for the foster children. Assembled gingerbread house kits will be available for sale. Children can enter a Holiday Coloring Contest and participate in the Gingerbread Fantasy Competition. The Fantasy competition is a gingerbread house decorating contest that is open to adults, children, youth and teams. Prizes will be awarded!

You can buy a kit with everything you need from THINC at its offices at 700 West Fourth Street in Little Rock, Arkansas (behind the Federal Building) in Little Rock. The kits, which make excellent holiday gifts, also will be on sale during Gingerbread Extravaganza.
